As discussed for the latest release of osx and a few times before [1], we could officially deprecate the osx platform. It seems it does not have many users anymore and we can offer good alternatives with Catalyst in cordova-ios and cordova-electron. Version 7.0.0 of osx already has a deprecation notice in the announcement blog post [2].
