I agree the adding of "CDVPluginContinueUserActivityNotification" API
makes it a minor release rather than a patch.

I know there's a fairly important fix for the Ionic webview in this
release waiting to go out, but I wanted to check where things landed
with that app scheme inconsistency exception. The changes in 8.0.1
ended up making it worse, and I think Manuel effectively reverted them
in favour of a different approach, but were there still issues there?

Sorry, I've been tied up with other things recently and haven't had a
chance to touch any of the Cordova stuff I'd been working on.
