Me and Adam are poking through the code and noticed something unusual. Can you
change the return value at [1] to be something like {not_found, rev_missing} or
similar to see if that's the piece of code indicating that the revision is
missing?
If that shows up, then could you log the input and output of the two calls at
[2] and [3] to check that the behavior is the same in both places (we treat the
return value slightly differently).
