Hi. This problem has just happened to me also, for no apparent reason. One of
our views just suddenly stopped existing, yet no request had been made to
modify the design document.
Here is the last successful log entry:

Strangely, Futon was able to access results from the "all" view, but was unable
to access the others. The designs did come up in the list. Restarting the
server resolved the problem. So far, this is the first time I've seen such a
problem.
We're running CouchDB 1.1.1 compiled from source on Ubuntu 11.04 64bit. Its
been running fine for the last 6 months.
Obviously, this problem is very alarming indeed and not something I've come
across before in CouchDB. As you can see the view in question is related to
Payments, which is something we really do not want to go wrong.
Please let me know if I can provide more information.
