Dave Cottlehuber commented on COUCHDB-1774: ------------------------------------------- Here's Filipe's original notes on this https://gist.github.com/fdmanana/1199903 . FWIW I tried last year to see if using an older (or a newer) OpenSSL resolved these crashes and didn't succeed. I have a modified erlang R16B that uses the latest static brewed openssl here https://gist.github.com/dch/5433401 and then needs the custom 1.3.x + mochiweb update here https://gist.github.com/dch/4657643 for R16B. I don't see these errors here, but I'm not sure if these changes actually fix the underlying issue or not, YMMV etc. Backporting my erlang OpenSSL recipe to work with R15B03-1 homebrew is not difficult. > POST to _restart crashes the server > ----------------------------------- > > Key: COUCHDB-1774 > URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/COUCHDB-1774 > Project: CouchDB > Issue Type: Bug > Components: Database Core > Reporter: Kirill Pertsev > Attachments: couchdb.log.txt, crashlog.txt > > > 1.3.0, MacOS prebuilt binary from Apache website, empty, admin password set. > OS X 10.8.3 > After posting to _restart the server restarts, replies with {"ok":"true"} and > then crashes.
