We're assume that it's located within "acinclude.m4" file at the root of the project, but looks like there is no such file there. The full traceback has been saved in /var/folders/nb/g8p41mws6znd_gmy0wk8btz40000gn/T/sphinx-err-Z7lFEZ.log, if you want to report the issue to the developers. Please also report this if it was a user error, so that a better error message can be provided next time.
