1.7.1 follows shortly after 1.7.0 because some users have noted an unintentional breaking API change[1] involving _all_docs and database members, barring them from updating from 1.6.1 or earlier to get away from a vulnerable version of CouchDB. 1.7.1 includes one extra commit over 1.7.0 that fixes this issue.
