Philipp Ottlinger commented on RAT-206: --------------------------------------- Sorry for the confusion I may have caused. You are right; RAT does not recognize CC licenses by default - in order to enable this we need to know what to scan for. Therefore I'd like to know which text snippet is mandatory in order to be properly CC-licensed? Can you answer that question? Apart from that it's rather easy to add this license. I just want to make sure we add the correct license text to look for. > Add support for Creative Commons Attribution-Share Alike 2.5 and Creative > Commons Attribution-Share Alike 3.0 licenses > ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- > > Key: RAT-206 > URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/RAT-206 > Project: Apache Rat > Issue Type: New Feature > Affects Versions: 0.11 > Reporter: Pascal Schumacher > Fix For: 0.12 > > > It would be very nice if support for the "Creative Commons Attribution-Share > Alike 2.5" and "Creative Commons Attribution-Share Alike 3.0" licenses could > be added to Rat. > Background: The documentation of the incubating Groovy Project is licensed > under "Creative Commons Attribution-Share Alike 3.0" and according to: > [https://www.apache.org/legal/resolved.html#cc-sa] this is o.k. but, Rat does > not seem to recognize the license. -- This message was sent by Atlassian JIRA (v6.3.4#6332)
