Jan Prach commented on CRUNCH-225:
----------------------------------

Sbt hadoop version - my bad - it's actually the same versions as in maven only
from hadoop-2 profile.

Scala and hadoop version incompatibilities are annoying, so...

Would you consider building multiple artifact?

We can change the sbt to do cross compilation for 2.9 and 2.10. In maven it
would be done using profiles. Release process would have to be scripted to
first call "maven install" and than "mvn install -P '!scala210,scala29'".
(assuming scala210 active by default)

BTW: Since we would have script to call maven multiple times we could also
build for both hadoop versions - and give resulting jar files different
<classifier> - classifier hadoop1 and hadoop2.

I can create patch for all of that :-)

> Scala 2.10 is mainstream. It was released half a year ago. It should be
> supported and default.
