I created ACCUMULO-2843 to track this on our end. I wanted to start the
discussion here to see if this is something you guys would want to have in
Crunch or whether we should keep it in Accumulo as a sister project.
One of our other committers recently worked with the Pig guys to get an
Accumulo PigStorage patch rolled into the Pig project. Wasn't sure if we'd want
to go about it the same way in this case.
