The virtue of getting the last stable release out the door is that we can now
upgrade all of our dependencies to keep up with Hadoop 2.8.2 and later
versions. I did the heavy lifting for this in a PR on GH
([https://github.com/apache/crunch/pull/30] ) that I would be happy to get some
eyes on before I merge it.
