I really am trying to understand the process. But, it's neither simple nor well documented. So, please bear with me. There are a lot of documents for sure. But, they're spread out and not altogether clear. For instance, the release management doc mentions "www.apache.org/dist/incubator/podling". However, Luciano said "Let's do that when we create the release." Seems like a catch-22 to me.
