Possibly, but not something I'm going to hold up the releases for. We use the wider range for pretty much all dependencies (spring is [2.5,4), asm is [2.0,4), etc...) which COULD cause issues with just about any of them. Something we can look at for a future release. Maybe 2.3.1.
