What it fixes:
- Bad -Xts:style values crashed. A style with no class name in front, like
-Xts:style:FIELD, crashed with a confusing StringIndexOutOfBoundsException. It
now gives a clear “invalid -Xts:style value” error that names the bad value.
- One failed delete skipped the rest. If one directory listed in deleteDirs
couldn’t be deleted, the rest were silently left alone. Now every directory is
attempted, and the build still fails if any of them couldn’t be deleted.
- An unreadable directory crashed deleteDir. It threw a
NullPointerException when a directory’s contents couldn’t be listed. It now
skips the contents, so the delete simply fails and the build reports it.
