I would take a look at the Jira issues and see if any of those sound
interesting to you. We have also labeled a handful of issues as
"beginner" that we think would be good for someone new to Daffodil, so
picking up one of those might be a good starting point.

Once you've found one, let us know and we'd be happy to help point you
in the right direction towards what changes are needed.

Also, if you haven't already, create a Jira account and let us know the
name and we can give you access to assign issues to yourself so other
people know you're working on it.

It might also be helpful to take a look at our Code Contributor
Workflow, which gives step by step instructions on how to
fork/clone/branch/pull request/etc. if you aren't familiar with that
workflow:
