I looked at the tickets; I don't believe any of them affect our Daffodil usage
right now. They can wait for 3.5.1 unless someone else speaks up.

Subject: EXT: Review of 18 Daffodil 3.5.0 tickets

Please take a look at

https://issues.apache.org/jira/issues/?jql=project%20%3D%20DAFFODIL%20AND%20resolution%20%3D%20Unresolved%20AND%20fixVersion%20%3D%203.5.0%20ORDER%20BY%20priority%20DESC%2C%20updated%20DESC

In the interest of releasing 3.5.0 fairly soon and starting work on 3.5.1, I'd
like to see which of the above tickets really should be fixed before release of
3.5.0.

Daffodil has 18 issues open that are labeled as to be fixed in release 3.5.0.
Currently 1 is marked blocker, 2 are marked critical, and 15 are marked 'major'.

If any of these major tickets are "really close" to finished and you would like
to complete them in time for 3.5.0 please respond to this email.
Otherwise I would plan to move them to 3.5.1.

Or just discuss any of the tickets by responding to this thread.

Our plan for release 3.5.1 is to continue to focus on fixing bugs.
