+1 (binding)
Tested on v3.8.0-rc1/rc2
- Verified/closed remaining resolved v3.9.0 assigned JIRA tickets.
- Successfully executed Daffodil sub-module SBT Test suites on CentOS 7 and the
following Java versions:
- Java 8
- Java 11
- Java 17
- Java 21
NOTE: the daffodil-test-integration tests failed due to requiring
daffodil-test to be compiled/executed first.
This is addressed in JIRA ticket DAFFODIL-2933. The workaround
is to run daffodil-test first.
- Executed the nightly tests scripts on the following Java versions with no
unexpected failures/errors:
- Java 8
- Java 11
- Java 17
- Java 21
NOTE: On rc1 the nitf schema failed to compile on regression test. Fixed in
rc2.
- Executed the dfdl-regression-test suite script with no unexpected/unexplained
failures/errors.
- Java 8
- Java 11
- Java 17
- Java 21
NOTE : The dfdl_regression-test/dfdl-p8 test suite (2425 tests)
Intermittently failed on the Centos 7 test server but was not reported on the
build system or other developer systems. Further investigation will be done to
determine the cause.
