I am not sure why you said "no longer". This must be a new option to avoid base64 encoding-decoding of binary fields in scalar functions. So I don't see how removing it can possibly fix anything. I am surprised that it is still not listed and not available in your project. You may want to contact support and request it to be enabled. @nikunjbhartia Do you know the time line for rolling out this feature?
