Cool! I'll take a look at #1 this week or next. As long as it can work functionally and serializable, I can test it with ScopeDB's approximate_count_distinct in production. So far, I have implemented it from a modified version of https://github.com/cloudflare/cardinality-estimator/, made it serializable, and removed the Small/Array repr to make it unsafe-free.
