Hello PMC and Community, I’d like to follow up on the earlier discussion about preparing the first v0.1.0 release of the DataSketches Go library.
Since the previous message, there have been additional contributions and improvements, and the project has reached for an initial release. However, I want to note that some sketches are still under development and only partially implemented. The intention of this release is to provide an early milestone for community feedback and adoption while continuing to expand feature coverage. We will clearly document the current status and limitations of each sketch in the release notes to set appropriate expectations. Unless there are new concerns or objections, I’m planning to prepare a release candidate and start a VOTE thread shortly. Thanks everyone for the continued support and contributions!
