## Summary - document how the pinned upstream revisions become the committed serialization corpus - explain how downstream DataSketches implementations are expected to consume the snapshots - provide the exact `check` and `update` commands and a review checklist for advancing an upstream pin - clarify the deterministic/probabilistic comparison policy and the current GitHub Actions boundary This PR documents the existing maintenance mechanism; it does not advance the Java or Go pins or change the snapshot corpus.
