-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 Hi,
totally agree with Reza. Apart from that I'm not sure about lumping HTTP clients together with bots. I agree that bots are a very tricky subject and should be treated properly and just "isBot", while often "OK", in this context is not very useful : for example sites could be OK with Google bots but not OK with mail scraping bots or for that matter http clients. And then there is the case of bots with 'crafted' user-agent strings like a google-bot 'impersonating' a mobile device or that mail scrapping bot trying to be clever. It seems to me that by keeping things as Reza describes and using the XML resources and patch-files [as suggested earlier] all the above cases and more can be dealt with depending on the use-case -- thru the use of the patch and resource files. esjr -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v2.0.22 (MingW32) iQEcBAEBAgAGBQJUhxACAAoJEOxywXcFLKYckjQH/2uzlUbv7BSysDKLwEdwzHpq MHmEZz7t/qaPwvRoLX8uy2Q8PcFP8LHzj4L2OOtaBj5Wy30VuDxLPp2jCqqTdOb+ zEWthrDOE08HuTZIRgMbCfcgo3SiJ5x4kUNTa8YvRX43w4Jq1qx+ctGc5lvszCQP JxQ4fubj7cLCE8hX+Nuolv9Fy6Zi6TdIWWitRTM7BpQloj6iKrNsiZ/EMLntzuJD zK9ydmKURszS1LEGOYAe1qTCjIrWgVXC5GLhqEiaO3Dt7n0JjTcxHiXQ4F1TgClb HfgTxgQWquhkdtQ55zqpI3vF7W0ftCF4lsxMOo2QJTdvaVPy8iF+GCuMSqZdRkM= =J4Qq -----END PGP SIGNATURE-----
