Terrific - Thanks.  Do you know whether the binding I get from the 
NamingEnumeration representing the children of L0 should return a context 
Object when I do binding.getObject()?  It seems that if I can lookup the 
context L1 and perform DirContext operations on it, then the binding that 
represents it should return it also?
