Right now we have a lot of conditional code and hardcoded workarounds in the
LDAP Browser plugin in order to support different directory implementations.
We should
- add extentension point that allow implementation specific adjustments:
loading and adjusting schema, loading Root DSE, fetching base DN entries, ...
- add additional plugins that implment those extension points for different
directory implementations (AD/ADAM, OID, eDirectory, DirX, Sun, Fedora,
OpenLDAP, OpenDS, ApacheDS, ...)
- simplyfiy the core ldapbrowser plugin
