Key: DIRSERVER-1351
URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/DIRSERVER-1351
Project: Directory ApacheDS
Issue Type: Bug
Components: asn1
Environment: any
Reporter: Brad Davis
Priority: Minor
ASN.1 encoded DERInteger objects are used for storing keypairs in base64
encoded public key blocks such as this one:
-----BEGIN RSA PUBLIC KEY-----
MIGJAoGBAMQgV2gXLbXgesWgeAsj8P1Uvm/zibrFXqwDq27lLKNgWGYGX2ax3LyT
3nzI1Y5oLs4kPKTsMM5ft9aokwf417lKoCRlZc9ptfRbgxDx90c9GtWVmkrmDvCK
ae59TMoXIiGfZiwWT6KKq5Zm9/Fu2Il3B2vHGkKJYKixmiBJRKp/AgMBAAE=
-----END RSA PUBLIC KEY-----
This contains a DERSequence of two DERInteger objects representing the public
exponent and the modulus of the key. But the modulus is far to large to be
represented by 'intValue()', so there is no way to convert from this into a
PublicKey object.
