Pierre-Arnaud Marcelot commented on DIRSTUDIO-767:
--------------------------------------------------
It was not really intended.
We should try to maintain the original case of the attribute name.
> All attribute names are lowercase when using Apache Directory LDAP Client API

> Key: DIRSTUDIO-767
> URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/DIRSTUDIO-767
> Project: Directory Studio
> Issue Type: Bug
> Components: studio-ldapbrowser
> Affects Versions: 2.0.0-M1
> Environment: Windows 7 64-bit
> Reporter: Aleks M
> Priority: Minor
>
> I'm using Apache Directory Studio against Novell eDirectory and when
> connecting with the Provider=Apache Directory LDAP Client API all attribute
> names in the column Attribute Description in the entry editor appear in
> lowercase.
> If I change back to JNDI they appear correctly.
> Don't know if this is a bug or a feature.
