Pierre-Arnaud Marcelot commented on DIRSTUDIO-807:
--------------------------------------------------
Hi,
As said on the Apache Directory Users ML [1] [2] [3], RFC 4512 "Lightweight
Directory Access Protocol (LDAP): Directory Information Models" clearly states
that the name of an schema elements can only be composed of characters (a-z,
A-Z), digits (0-9) and hyphens ('-').
Any other character, dot ('.') included is forbidden.
You should replace your dots in the naming of our schema elements by hyphens.
Regards,
Pierre-Arnaud
