I just tried myself with same environment (ArchLinux, Oracle JDK 1.8._60,
Eclipse Mars.1) and it worked.
* Did you use the right update URL (see also screenshot1.png)?
http://directory.apache.org/studio/update
* Which categories/features/plugins did you choose? Can you please try to just
choose the whole "Apache Directory Studio" category but none from the
"Dependencies"? (see screenshot1.png)
* If you filter for "collections", do you see the "Commons Collections 3.2.1"
plugin available? (see screenshot2.png)
