Ok. Are you suggesting I need to first migrate from version 2.0.0-M19 to
2.0.0-M20 and then run the tool?

If so, is there any documentation for the migration process? Is it possible to
migrate even with a corrupt partition?

The end result I’m looking for is the ability to export a clean ldif of the
data. Of course, currently that’s not possible due to the state of the
partition.

The partition holds approx. 1000 users and previous attempts to export a ldif
have been unsuccessful and exported possibly only ¼ of the data.

If I were to migrate and run the tool against the newer version, is it likely
the to repair the partition and would then allow me to export a ldif?

To launch the tool, I cd into the directory where the jar resides. And then run
this:

sudo java -jar partition-plumber.jar -d /var/lib/apacheds-2.0.0_M19/default/ -p
dc=prioritydispatch,dc=net -e /home/devinp/

According to the file /var/lib/apacheds-2.0.0_M19/default/conf/config.ldif, the
‘simpleauthenticator’ entry exists and is ready for use. Any ideas?
this is likely cause the tool uses version 2.0.0-M20 of ApacheDS to fix the
partition
