Sorry, but I was forced to give up on building this release. Upgrading maven to
3.6.3 on ubuntu 19.10 was too complex because it required so many other
packages. I tried openjdk 8 with maven 3.6.1, but it failed in exactly the same
way as with openjdk 11.
