A schema description with an oversized SYNTAX length or rule ID made the parser throw a NumberFormatException. That exception escaped loadSchema(), because the public parse methods only converted checked exceptions to ParseException. The parser now reports these inputs as a normal ParseException, and so does any other unexpected runtime error inside it. -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
