A schema description with an oversized *SYNTAX* length or rule *ID* made the
parser throw a _NumberFormatException_. That exception escaped _loadSchema()_,
because the public parse methods only converted checked exceptions to
_ParseException_. The parser now reports these inputs as a normal
_ParseException_, and so does any other unexpected runtime error inside it.
