Hi All,
As you (or your computers) know, we have moved 2.0beta2 to the / stable directory on the master servers.  If you have not rsync'd it  over, please do so as soon as you can. We plan on announcing it's  general availability Monday.

The directory address is /stable/2.0beta2/*

It will likely be popular,  and in fact, I'd be surprised if you are  not already getting hits :-)

Cheers,

Louis

check!
I've created some bittorrents, they may be found at:

PS
to keep in touch with all current torrents:
http://borft.student.utwente.nl/~mike/oo/bt.rss

I have created ed2k and magent links for the files available on your torrent server:

OOo_2.0beta2_SolarisSparc_install.tar.gz (104.3MB): ed2k - magnet

OOo_2.0beta2_LinuxIntel_install.tar.gz (101.7MB): ed2k - magnet

OOo_2.0beta2_Solarisx86_install.tar.gz (95.4MB): ed2k - magnet

OOo_2.0beta2_src.tar.gz (260.0MB): ed2k - magnet

OOo_2.0beta2_Win32Intel_install.zip (75.2MB): ed2k - magnet

You will notice that especially the magnet links are huge, as they contain 4 different hashes, the file size, and the recomended file name. They can be used with most current p2p programs.
As I mentioned earlier, magnet links can also contain any http sources, in the form &xs=http://www.server.com/file.zip so a handful of the regular mirrors could be added, this would aid the distribution while there are not many people sharing and many people trying to download. The advantages that this would have over ordinary downloading for the users is that files are automatically verified, and for those with high-speed connections, the p2p networks would compliment the ordinary mirrors, instead of being a one-way-or-the-other situation.
