ibiblio has a project to integrate BitTorrent technology with its mirrors. See http://torrent.ibiblio.org. This project allows users to retrieve files from ibiblio's mirror using the BitTorrent protocol, getting all the benefits of block level error checking and retries. By request (from me), ibiblio has posted torrents for OOo v2.0.3 at this website. Can we post ibiblio's URL as a backup for use when OOo's tracker is down (as it was most of this week)? Might there also be a way to integrate ibiblio's file serving capability into OOo's torrent files, for example, by using a multi-tracker extension to the torrent format?
