I've noticed that none of the OpenOffice torrents include the file's SHA1 or ED2K hashes in them. This could potentially reduce the effectiveness of clients such as Shareaza which can download data for torrents from sources that are not torrent clients. I will have formal documentation on the optional hashes available as soon as I can.
Shareaza also supports http://wiki.depthstrike.com/index.php/P2P:Protocol:Specifications:BitTorrent:External_Sourcing for single-file torrents. This will permit Shareaza to supplement the torrent swarm with direct downloads from external servers.
