Hi,

I just received the press release from John McCreesh about the next version
of Open Office being available. He pointed out in the release that you can
download OOo via P2P. This I am keen to do, I prefer to use P2P for
downloading open source software as it helps spread the software across the
internet and it reduces the download demand on the projects bandwidth.

Although when I went to download OOo via P2P I was a bit confused. Under
the BitTorrent section, there are download links for OOo 2.2.0 but in four
different RC's. So download link is the same as the one being announced in
the press release and available to download through the main download page.
I only want to download the most recent stable release. I think this should
be clearer.

While on the P2P page for Magnet and Meta links there are only links for OOo
2.1.0. So my point is, when a press release goes out about a new release
available for download, you should first check that all your download
sources are up to date, and they are all making the same download version
available.

For the moment I am not going to use the P2P method for downloading as I am
unsure what version I am getting and I think it is safer to download from
the main download page. This should not be the case though. I would like
to download via P2P in the future, but please make what I am downloading
clearer and have some continuity across the download sources.

Thank you for your time, this is a wonderful project and I wish you all the
best with it.

Yours sincerely,
Stephen Judge
