Dear friends and colleagues,
Christmas time is near, and instead of spending time in mailing lists
and chatrooms, many of us already decorate their Christmas trees, are on
their way to friends and families, and look forward to spending some
peaceful, joyful and silent days with their beloved ones.
I wish you all by heart a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. Take the
time for the real important things in life, recharge your batteries and
just enjoy this so very special time.
I would like express my deepest thanks for the great work we've done in
2009, for the great events we organized and for the steps we've taken
forward on our road to open source and free standards.
The year 2010 will probably mark a year of change -- may it be good or
bad. However, I'm confident and without any doubt that whatever will
occur, we as a community will stand together and will master all
challenges that can happen.
Thank you again for a wonderful time and for all the things you've done
to make this happen!
