Thus I "gladly" report the broken link on the main download site. The webpage http://download.openoffice.org/index.html recognises my computer (Mac OS X on a Mac G4, i.e., with an Power PC Processor PPC) and my language (German - de-CH) correctly, surfing with a Safari Browser. > Download OpenOffice.org 3.2.1 > Click to start downloading the most recent version for Mac OS PPC > and German (Java Runtime Environment (JRE) included > for all OS versions except Linux 32/64-bit Debian and Mac OS) It thus offers the (name of) the correct download. http://download.services.openoffice.org/files/localized/de/3.2.1/OOo_3.2.1_MacOS_PPC_install_de.dmg But that download brings an error page only, (an OOo 404 page). I do not know whether there is know such OpenOffice release for (old) PPC computers (it does not appear on the "all versions" page). But it should not be offered for download. I am now about to download [OpenOffice.org 3.3.0 Beta 1 ] http://ooopackages.good-day.net/pub/OpenOffice.org/contrib/macosppc/3.3.0beta1/OOo-Dev_3.3.0beta1_MacOS_PPC_install_en-US.dmg (and the language files for German) It is downloading, let's see how well it works.
