With regard to the OpenOffice.org software and CD-ROM distribution, the
question at hand is as follows: Would it be permissible to give another
person a gift consisting of a burned CD that contains OpenOffice.org
binaries and source code (and possibly language packs) in addition to
other unrelated content, and to have the CD label feature the title text
of "OpenOffice.org" (but not any OpenOffice.org logo) and a reference to
the "http://www.openoffice.org/" Web site among other information? I am
presuming that such an action would be permissible. (Although the
OpenOffice.org binaries probably contain instances of the OpenOffice.org
logo, it may well be that distributing the binaries is different from
using the logo on disc labels, printed matter, and other outside works
with regard to permissions.) The idea of increasing exposure to the
OpenOffice.org software is of some interest.

Hi Richard.
There should be no problem with what you describe. The Official logo is
related to printed materials and web pages. As long as the binaries are
not modified they will contain the logo.
