Excuse me for top posting but I am about to try to get some sleep. I think you are absolutely right. Scott told me a week or so ago that he would be working on this. Since he appears unavailable or incognito or whatever. Can we put this on the back burner for a week, please?
http://www.openoffice.org/issues/show_bug.cgi?id=45405 is open for the contrib page so that others can attach stuff there while we wait for Scott. BTW, I found those same issues from last year and before. Why these were never put up I will never know as they were before my time. I found a couple of others as well and will see if the authors will release the docs again.
