It looks like one is a Staging Area. It says in a note, that the links may be broken, etc.
I created that directory, and I wrote that note.
The other is the cleaned up information. Keep these kind of questions coming.
Ok, why don't we as a team, address the issues in the "staging area", add the new questions to that, and make that the faq directory that helps folks contribute? Why does the site_maintainers directory continue to be unaddressed as viable information for OOo contributors? As has been pointed out by the bumps we ran into past with staging areas: http://qa.openoffice.org/issues/show_bug.cgi?id=37629 http://qa.openoffice.org/issues/show_bug.cgi?id=39287 using staging areas to provide new information is not a grand idea. It causes broken links or huge amounts of rework. Because the faqs are many small files, I feel this learned fact applies strongly to faq directories. Thank you for your interest.
