1. Don't post the template. This step addresses the paranoia.
2. Move this thread to discuss@openoffice.org if you feel compelled to continue. This step addresses the off topic nature of the discussion, plus you may have better luck finding a lurking ambulance chaser.

Sorry, but do we need a warning that says: Do not use OOo to write

Does the world really need warnings like "Do not but your hampster in
the microwave-oven"?

Yes, unfortunately you do. As long as there are societies where lawyers
can make money from inevitable user stupidity, you need a warning.
People put their hamspter into the microwave oven. The hampster dies
(although probably the human gene pool would be better off if the
hampster's owner was dead, not the rodent). Now if you live in certain
places in the world, where common sense has long gone, then a lawyer
will sue the oven manufacturer for negligence, because you can not
expect that the average citizen of such a country would be able to
figure out that if the microwave can boil a cup of water in less than
a minute, it could possibly kill the roughly same weight hampster that
is roughly 80% water anyway. Therefore, it is the responsibility of the
company to explicitely tell the user not to put the hampster, the cat
or, for that matter, the baby into the microwave oven because it can be
dangerous to their life.

As long as the average sanity keeps nosediving and the amount of money you can extort steadily goes up you do need those warnings otherwise
you'll be hit very hard indeed. Long gone the days where if a child
climbed a junglegym and fell it was his fault - today it is the
council's fault, because they did not adequately pad the ground around
it and did not warn the parents that climbing up has the inherent risk
of falling down which can be painful or even harmful. Kid falls, leg
breaks, parents sue council, council bulldozes the playground and
sells the land for the new offices of a lawfirm. Let's heil the brave, new world...
