Hi All, My name is Steve Frank. I am the electrical and computer engineering technician at Messiah College, a private college in Pennsylvania. I have used OpenOffice for about 4 years, and about 3 months ago I started as a QA volunteer. Due to an issue I was working on, I was asked if I'd like to maintain the 1.1.x English installation guide. I thought it would be a good start for me in documentation. I'll probably still spend most of my time triaging issues for QA, but I want to stay up on documentation as well. If you see issues pertaining to the 1.1.x installation guide, please email me with them.
grsingleton, I have joined issuezilla, the documentation project (as an observer), & this list. What do I do now in order to modify existing documentation? I can upload a modified document to the issue in question, or email it to you directly, or you could point me in the right direction for setting up CVS & getting a developer status. I don't know what proper protocol is, so I'm waiting to hear from you (or anyone else who knows how I go about this job).
