Agreed with virtually everything said thus far, in particular with the
reference set of criteria. ;-)
But to cut to the chase, do you suggest a particular jurisdiction we begin
with and if so, how do we determine its requirements?
Well, no, I don't have any such jurisdiction to hand, basically because
most of the pleading papers I have seen thus far have come from Europe,
or the US. I have no idea what the requirements would be, for example,
in Japan, or Israel, or Dubai. Perhaps there are other lawyers lurking
with experience of such things (to be fair, I don't do much litigation
in Dubai ;-) )
I also realize that a US based template would probably satisfy the
major user demand, at least in immediate terms, so obviously one must
bear in mind the realities of software usage simply in terms of numbers
as well.

Great information from everyone. Why not create a page under
Templates that is for Legal Documents. It can be split by whatever
makes sense. The first page would list the Major Countrys that have
legal documents, then under each of those a list of what regions the
document is for. Using this format, it would be pretty easy to add
documents as they are available.
