I think it could work. I don't have the facilities to edit Russian language documents at this time (no Russified keyboard) but I'm proficient in both languages, so it makes sense. I'm in the middle of migrating from a bloated XP box to a new MacBook Pro right now, so perhaps I could find a cheapo USB Russian keyboard to plug into it for things of this nature.
Are there any specific docs you had in mind? I'm still trying to figure out how to navigate and find doc standards around the OOo site.
