Oh, we're all not developers in the hard core sense of the word. We're trying to develop the content for documentation - and occasionally as time and talent allows, some tooling.
could only do a small part at times. You see this whole thing came about as I delve deeper into Base to develop a database to ease my workload, as I'm a student full time and I'm finding more of a need for documentation to save me from trial and error learning I've been doing.
Whatever you found out on your (painful) path toa solution is probably worth communicating as a FAQ or a howto on the wiki to help others going down the same route. We still have some gaps in the docs that can be filled with your help and the help of other users who solve problems through trial&error. Base is particularly underdeveloped here, I must admit.
I'm not really sure how I could contribute that hasn't been addressed already, and probably by more qualified individuals :-)
The idea you came up with proves well that your qualifications seem worth being exploited shamelessly ;-) Frank -- Frank Peters Documentation Project Co-Lead The OOo Documentation Project: SIGN UP - PARTICIPATE - CONTRIBUTE IT'S FREE!
