The list of functions is more akin to reference material, than
training material. For an office that is migrating to OOo, that list
of functions is extremely useful --- especially for things that were
not done that often in MSO/Wordperfect Office/etc.
And exactly which functions should be dubbed to get any attention? Who is
helped and why?
All of them. It probably should be a document on its own.

jonathon nailed it: this is reference material, which means it belongs
in an appendix. As reference material, we want it as complete as
possible w/r/t topics, sparse on explanations, rich on references ("See
Writer Guide, Chapter . . .") /tj
