A while ago we tested the FCKEditor on the OOo Wiki (provides a Rich Text editor for the Wiki). It didn't do so well for a few reasons including the fact that it was on by default for everyone and it broke on a few rather important things.
I was just looking at the project again, and a lot has changed... for example: - There is a new option available to set the FCKEditor to OFF by default for new users and a maintenance script to set it to OFF for all existing users. This means that we can install the WYSIWYG editor and people can "opt-in" to use it if they wish. A lot of the things that were quite broken 6 or 8 months ago have been fixed, and it appears to be working much better. Is it worth trying again with this extension?
