Last week I uploaded to the Docs website the first set of PDFs, for the
OOo3 Getting Started guide, here:

These have been reviewed but may be further revised and edited as people
have time. I'm holding off doing a printed version for awhile, in case
this happens. This book has been somewhat reorganised from the OOo2.x
version, as well as being updated for OOo3.
Many thanks to those who have reviewed chapters of this book. Thanks
also to translators who find errors and omissions and pass the
corrections on to us.
I have put a link to the new guide on the Docs first page. I have not
yet collected "published" versions of the editable (.odt) files on the
OOoAuthors website, but may do that later this week. I have also not
updated the wiki version to include the reviewers' comments; that may be
next week's job.
I'm hoping we'll now get back to work on the Writer Guide and get an
updated version of that out soon.
As always, more help with writing, reviewing, editing, and updating the
wiki would be appreciated.
