For those of you who haven't seen this announcement elsewhere...
I have written a book titled "Self-Publishing using OpenOffice.org 3
Writer" which is now available in PDF (3.5MB). If you want a review
copy, please contact me directly and ask for one.
Can you please tell alittle more about this book and it's scope,
audiences etc?
This book is for beginners to intermediate users of OpenOffice.org Writer. It
concentrates on the needs of people writing a book-length document such as a
novel, a collection of poetry or essays, or a non-fiction bookâincluding people
who want to self-publish their book using one of the on-demand printing services
like Lulu, Booksurge, or Lightning Source.
The draft is under 200 pages (formatted for 6x9-inch paper).
I have in mind to write some other books that are variations on this topic,
aimed at audiences with more complex requirements, but I don't want to overwhelm
this audience with too much information. Mainly I want them to understand how to
use page and paragraph styles, automated tables on contents, and a few other
features, to do relatively simple jobs.
A not-quite-up-to-date ToC is here:

I'm in the process of updating the other pages as I have time.
